Staff Engineer

Elizabeth has joined the Colorado River Authority of Utah as a staff engineer. Previously, she worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, as an engineer in the Hydrology Section. In that role, she focused on watershed and reservoir modeling, dam safety, and flood surveillance.

Elizabeth attended the University of Utah where she earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and Mathematics. Her graduate research focused on optimizing sensor networks for monitoring snow depth and soil moisture, combining machine learning and hydrologic data to improve water resource monitoring.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, birding, and reading.
