Roger Pearson

Roger Pearson is a civil engineer and water resources professional with extensive experience planning, developing, operating, and maintaining major water projects throughout Utah. He currently works as CUWCD’s Colorado River Program Manager and previously worked as Special Program Manager and CUPCA Program Manager, where he managed the Central Utah Project Completion Act program, coordinated with federal partners, oversaw design and construction activities, and advanced long-term regional water supply planning. His career has included work with municipalities, irrigators, state and federal agencies, and local water users to deliver reliable infrastructure and support responsible water development.

Roger’s background includes managing large capital budgets, supervising water operations, representing water projects before local committees, and contributing to statewide infrastructure and water supply planning. He is a licensed Utah Professional Engineer and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Brigham Young University. Roger has served for several years with the American Water Resources Association Utah Section, including as Section President. He and his wife live in the Heber Valley with their seven children, where they enjoy farming and ranching, spending time outdoors, supporting their active children in sports, and serving in their church and community.
