Upper Colorado Basin Draft Drought Response Operations Plan Soliciting Input

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) and the Upper Division States of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming have developed a Draft Drought Response Operations Plan Framework (Draft Plan Framework) in accordance with the scope and purposes described in the Drought Response Operations Agreement (DROA). DROA is part of the 2019 Upper Colorado River Basin  Drought Contingency Plan and aims to minimize the risk of Lake Powell declining below a target elevation of 3,525 feet.  Please refer to the Reclamation website (see link, below)  for a copy of the Draft Plan Framework and instructions regarding submitting comments on the Draft Framework to Reclamation.  Note:  The Colorado River Authority of Utah will not directly accept comments on the Draft Plan Framework.
