On October 19, 2023, the Bureau of Reclamation published a scoping report summarizing the comments received during the public scoping process on Post-2026 Operations of Lake Powell and Lake Mead and a proposed federal action, purpose and need and scope of the environmental analysis to be included in the draft environmental impact statement (DSEIS).
