Eddy Covariance Tower Installation

We installed an eddy covariance tower to measure evapotranspiration from a desert alfalfa field this week with our @utahgeological survey partners at @nature_org’s Canyonlands Research Center at Dugout Ranch. The station will be an excellent research tool for understanding water, carbon dioxide, and energy exchanges between crops, air, and soil. We hope that it encourages collaboration and new research.
